Yoga school (Shala)

 We are a place for you to come and learn with quality teachers who care about you and your well being! 

Different than place that offers instructors who set up their own yoga mats and take a practice while you follow along.

Beginners*X-Press*Lunchtime :  

 This class is for beginners students needing a gentle class with attention to breath and learning yoga postures asanas. This class is based in the 8 limb tradition of Yoga.  Class Length 45mins-1 hour class

Ashtanga Yoga Basics:

This class is good for beginner students or long time students looking for a foundational yoga practice. This class is steeped in the tradition of The Yoga Therapy Practices of the 8 Limbs of Yoga. The focus is based on the breath, alignment, concentration and the balance of strength and flexibility.The techniques taught in this class help to ease stress, Bring strengt & Flexibility to our Minds, Bodies and Hearts. Class Length 1 1/2 hour class

Vinyasa:

This class is good for beginner students or long time students looking for a creative flow practice based on the teacher's creativity of sequencing of yoga postures. Class Length  1 1/2 hour class

Yin Yoga:

Yin yoga is a slow-paced style of yoga with postures, or asanas, that are held for longer periods of time—for beginners.

 it may range from 45 seconds to two minutes; more advanced practitioners may stay in one asana for five minutes or more. Class Length 1 1/2 hour class

Intro to Primary Series:

Vinyasa Style Sequence Class. This practice is good for students who have developed a foundation in a Yoga Basics Class or who are athletic and have some Yoga background.  This class is steeped in the tradition of The Yoga Therapy Practices of the 8 Limbs of Yoga. Yoga Chikitsa/1st Astanga Series up to Navasana/Boat posture. Class Length 1 1/2 Hour

Intro to Second Series:

1 1/2 hour class Vinyasa Style Sequence Class. This practice is good for students who have developed a foundation in a Yoga Basics Class or who are athletic and have some Yoga background. This class is steeped in the tradition of The Yoga Therapy Practices of the 8 Limbs of Yoga. Nadi Shodhana/2nd Series of Astanga up until Yoga Nidrasana/Sleeping Yogi Posture.

Mysore:

1 1/2 hour class, This is a class for students who want to learn. Here students can learn and work through the ashtanga sequences on their own time. Teachers will work with each individual student on a one to one Basis within the group setting allow each student to learn and practice at their own pace. This is not a guided class! we do have practice sheets available for students to follow.  Once students have memorized the sequence there is a freedom that comes to your practice where your body guides you through the sequences and the mind has an meditative opportunity. Here students receive personal guidance and assists and adjustments from a qualified teacher. This class is not a group guided class, everyone works at their own pace in a peaceful setting and the teacher is there for guidance,. This is not a private class, however Mysore class, offers students personal attention as needed. Beginners are welcome to come and begin to learn the first sequence. This class is steeped in the tradition of The Yoga Therapy Practices of the 8 Limbs of Yoga. 1 1/2 hour class.

Sunday Donation Class:

This is a community class for all levels. Students are asked to donate a suggested of $10-$18.
