Workshops & CPD Courses
As a teacher of 30 years, I am passionate about supporting fellow teachers and dedicated practitioners. These modules are designed to bridge the gap between traditional lineage and modern therapeutic recovery.
All modules qualify for YACEP credits.
Workshops
1. Sustainable Ashtanga & Vinyasa
Focus: Accessibility & Longevity
In this workshop, we de-mystify "strong" sequences. I share how to maintain the integrity and heat of Ashtanga and Vinyasa while using intelligent, therapeutic modifications. We focus on meeting the individual’s unique anatomy, ensuring the practice is a source of joy and health for a lifetime, rather than a cause of strain.
2. Philosophy for the Modern World
Focus: The Sutras & The Bhagavad Gita
Yoga philosophy shouldn't feel like a history lesson; it’s a survival manual for modern life. We explore the core teachings of the Yoga Sutras and the Bhagavad Gita, translating ancient wisdom into practical tools for navigating stress, ethics, and mental clarity in today’s world.
3. The Energetic Body & Marma Points
Focus: Pranayama & Subtle Anatomy
Move beyond the physical "casing" of the body. This module explores the flow of Prana through the study of Marma points and traditional Pranayama. Students learn how to sensitise their practice, using energetic awareness to heal and balance the nervous system.
4. Functional Anatomy & Alignment Made Simple
Focus: Safety & Structural Integrity
I break down complex structural anatomy into clear, understandable concepts. This is a non-intimidating look at how bodies actually move. We look at common "yoga injuries" and how to prevent them through a deep understanding of alignment, helping students and teachers build a practice that supports the joints and spine.
5. The Art of Supportive Adjustments (Teachers Only)
Focus: CPD / Hands-on Mentoring
A masterclass in the "language of touch." I teach how to offer therapeutic, non-invasive physical cues that empower the student rather than overpower them. We focus on reading a student's energy and structural needs to provide support that is safe, kind, and effective.
